What a fun night we had.

Granny came for a visit to stay with Christian
so I could go on Jacob's field trip with him.
We went to Cedar Hill Farms and had a great time.
Jacob got to feed all the animals, watch some singing
and dancing chickens, take a hayride, go through a very
muddy corn maze, and pick out his own pumpkin from
the patch. It was a fun day.

This was Jacob's 1st day of Kindergarten
at Hernando Elementary. He is loving
school (at the moment).

This was Christian's first day of preschool. He

goes 2 days a week to Longview Heights where we

attend church.

He talked to his teacher for the 1st

time last week. I think she just about fell out.

She said she looked around and thought, did he

just say something? He is a TOTALLY different

child at church and school than he is at home.

But- he is starting to come out of his shell in public.

I have to tell this funny story.

We were in Kroger last Monday and were at the deli

counter when Christian looked at me and pointed to this older

man wearing an oxygen mask and tank on his back. The next

thing I know he was standing up in the cart and YELLING

"Hey Man- Cool Backpack" and gave him a thumbs up!! It was hilarious and the ladies at the

counter could not stop laughing nor could I. The older gentlemen just smiled. Never a dull moment

around here!!:)
